Desmond has over 18 years of R&D and strategic planning experience, specializing in accelerating innovations in the biotech, food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. He is a lead inventor on several patents and technology disclosures, authored several high impact research articles and had also secured and managed million-dollar grant funding for his trans-disciplinary research projects and programmes. Desmond holds a PhD in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Technology) from the University of Sydney.
